据测试绿坝会屏蔽加菲猫。但是那张被屏蔽的加菲猫图片，明明浑身都是毛啊。

是绿坝没有实现这个技术，还是texture是没法识别的？

We try to collect the queries that can discriminate the quality of search engines most effectively (all analysis is my own guess).

1. michael i jordan (Feb. 14, 2009)

google: top1 - michael i jordan cs@berkeley

live: top 1 - michael jordan @ wikipedia

analysis: even if 'i' is not a stop word, it has very little predictive power as a keyword. however, if we look closely, the keywords used by google are "michael i" and "jordan", probably thanks to the successful application of Name Entity Recoginition (NER) in query processing. besides google might still learn from their log. as the web is dominated by the basketball player, finding the correct page by keywords in the index is just like finding a needle in a haystack.

2. emnlp

one of my blog entry made some immature comments on emnlp and coling. to my surprise it made 4/5 on google.cn. i think it could be filtered or penalized by the method described in:

in the meantime i have modified that entry to make it more useful...

个人认为其实这反映了开心网的访客构成。大家一般都会选跟自己差不多的人。

这是行天98的一个新的测试版，可杀一万三千多种病毒， 虽然，它的内核纯属拿来主义，但就算是“汉化AVP”吧， 也为E文不好又想使用先进杀毒软件的朋友带来福音， 当然，R文好就不用了。再说再开发的成分也有不少 （比如界面，开玩笑），总比我直接盗版强啊！

凭心而论，我认为对洋人，抄一抄，盗一盗，没什么， 只要有利与我们自己的发展。对于，R国的AVP，抄它 自然更没商量，如果能吃透他的内核，中国反毒产品 就可缩小与国外的差距，这比我们自己从零干起好的 多，但我反对盗权又盗名，既然抄了，不必非把自己 的名属成AUTHOR吧。

凭心而论，我也不愿搞D版，因为这是一柄双刃剑，如 果没有D版中国的软件氛围将先天不足；但毕竟D版开 始刺伤我们自己的产业。在此之前，我们的光盘上 从没出现过一个国产版权软件，（这一期，是玩家中 的股民和股民中的玩家要求的太强烈）。今后我们还 是以国外最新软件和资料为主，为中国的自由软件环境 做一点努力。尽管，有过《血狮》、KV300这些败笔， 但我坚信中国软件产业会写下他精彩的一页。
